Air (Stack) Emission Monitoring

The purpose of this monitoring was to determine the quality of air emitted to the atmosphere from the designated chimneys (stacks). Findings of the monitoring are to be compared with the limits of the Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulation 2014.

PAC has extensive experience in conducting source emissions tests for industrial facilities and utilities. PAC conforms to US EPA Methods as well as Malaysian Standard Methods requirement.



Water Sampling and Analysis

Industrial Effluent
  • Effluent Standard: Discharge Limits for Industrial Effluent based on Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations, 2009 (Malaysia).

Sewage Water
  • Refer to The Environmental Quality (Sewage) Regulations 2009.

Drinking Water
  • Refer to The Standard for Water (based on Food Act 1983 as at 1st March 2013), 25th A Schedule (sub regulation 394 (1)).

Marine Water
  • Under Malaysia Marine Water Quality Criteria and Standard.

Stream Water
  • Based on the National Water Quality Standard Malaysia.


Boundary Noise Monitoring



The purpose of this monitoring was to determine the noise level at factory boundary. Findings of the monitoring are to be compared with the Schedule 1 of The Planning Guidelines for Environmental Noise Limit and Control, 2004 by the Department of Environment (DOE).
 

Ambient Air Monitoring

Ambient air monitoring is the long-term assessment of pollutant levels by measuring the quantity and types of certain pollutants in the surrounding.

PAC provides comprehensive ambient air monitoring services to both industrial and utility clients in order to comply with the Department of Environment Guidelines. Our goal is to provide quality assured data in a timely manner meeting all valid data recovery requirements. We have demonstrated our ability to do just that on a consistent basis.
